Light Quality Effects on Leaf Color & Plant Morphology
This Horticulture Storyline, Lettuce Laments, explores a phenomenon associated with light quality and its role in development of purple lettuce leaf color and plant morphology in lettuce. The storyline includes a flexible lesson plan overview with web links, published research, data sets, and video interviews with the researcher. Lessons for high school students may augment modules in, for example, Photosynthesis or the Biology of Skin Color (Melanin), and serve as a way to introduce careers in controlled-environment horticulture.
We've packaged everything you need for the Lettuce Laments module.
