Biography

Yun Liang is a Teaching Assistant Professor in the Park Management and Conservation (PMC) program in the Department of Horticulture and Natural Resources at Kansas State University. She teaches a range of undergraduate courses, including Introduction to Natural Resource Management, Park Operations and Maintenance Management, and Parks and Recreation Administration. Her teaching emphasizes experiential learning, applied skill development, and strong connections between the classroom and professional practice.

Dr. Liang’s research focuses on outdoor recreation, sustainable destination management, and the use of big data and emerging technologies to inform decision-making in outdoor and tourism. She is actively involved in developing field-based and online learning experiences and works closely with local, state, and federal agencies to provide students with real-world opportunities.
