Horticultural Therapy

What is Horticultural Therapy?
This discipline may be defined simply as sharing the experience of plants between the therapist and the patient/client. Their interaction creates an environment that is beneficial in mediating patient/client dysfunction. Horticultural therapists are trained professionals who use horticulture, nature, and related plant activities to assist in the therapy and/or habilitation of a wide range of client groups.
